This is a State forest at Cascade

Wild Cattle Creek State Forest is a Forestry Corporation of NSW working forest at Cascade, on the Dorrigo plateau. Cascade National Park, Dorrigo National Park, and Wild Cattle Island National Park near Gladstone in Queensland are different parks, with different managers. The picnic and short-stay camp here is Mobong Creek: toilets, tables, fire pits, a short footbridge, a waterfall and a pool. Spaces are limited and you cannot book. The other named place is the Arthur McQuilty Memorial Tree, a giant tallowwood with a 250 m walk. That tree is not a camp. NSW lists the address as Moses Rock Road, Cascade. Forestry Corporation says about 60 minutes west of Coffs Harbour, or about 30 minutes north of Dorrigo. Mobong Track starts at Cascade, runs through Cascade National Park, and finishes at Mobong Creek. Most of that tramway is the national park. There is no Wild Cattle Flat. Entry is free. This site is an unofficial operator’s manual in the State Forest Guide Australia network. Check Forestry Corporation before you drive.
